Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Last Updated: March 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the web hosting, domain registration, and digital services provided by White Cap Solutions ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our services, you agree to comply with this AUP. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time, effective upon posting the updated version to our website.

1. General Standard of Conduct White Cap Solutions provides foundational digital services designed to help local businesses grow. Our servers and network may only be used for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for any content, data, or activity that occurs under your account.

2. Prohibited Content and Activities You may not use our services to publish, transmit, or store content that is:

  • Illegal: Any content that violates local, state, federal, or international laws.

  • Malicious: Viruses, malware, trojan horses, worms, or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to computer systems or networks.

  • Fraudulent: Phishing sites, scams, pyramid schemes, or impersonation of another person or entity.

  • Intellectual Property Violations: Content that infringes on the copyrights, trademarks, or patents of others (e.g., pirated software, unauthorized media streaming).

  • Highly Objectionable: We reserve the right to refuse hosting for content that promotes illegal violence, terrorism, or the exploitation of minors.

  • Adult Content: Hosting, distributing, or linking to pornography, sexually explicit media, or escort services is strictly prohibited to protect the integrity and IP reputation of our shared server environments.

3. Server Resource Abuse To ensure high performance and stability for all clients, accounts on shared hosting environments (such as The Essential and The Builder plans) must not consume excessive server resources. Prohibited resource activities include, but are not limited to:

  • Running cryptocurrency mining software or nodes.

  • Running continuous background processes, daemons, or IRC bots.

  • Using shared hosting primarily as an offsite backup, file sharing, or bulk storage facility rather than a functioning website.

  • Generating traffic spikes that severely disrupt the performance of other users on the same server node.

(Note: High-demand applications should be upgraded to our dedicated Enterprise solutions).

4. Zero-Tolerance Spam Policy White Cap Solutions has a strict zero-tolerance policy against Unsolicited Commercial Email (UCE) or "Spam."

  • You may not use our network to send bulk unsolicited emails.

  • You may not host a website on our servers that is advertised via spam sent from another network.

  • All email lists must be explicitly opt-in and comply with the CAN-SPAM Act.

  • Violation of this policy will result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

5. System and Network Security Violations of system or network security are strictly prohibited and may result in criminal and civil liability. Prohibited activities include:

  • Unauthorized access to or use of data, systems, or networks (Hacking).

  • Interfering with service to any user, host, or network (e.g., DDoS attacks, mail bombing).

  • Falsifying packet header information (Spoofing).

  • Running automated vulnerability scanners or port scanners against our infrastructure or third-party networks.

6. Enforcement and Consequences We retain the right, but not the obligation, to monitor our network for AUP violations. If we determine, in our sole discretion, that a violation has occurred, we may take immediate action, including:

  • Issuing a warning.

  • Temporarily suspending the offending account, website, or service.

  • Permanently terminating the account without notice or refund.

  • Removing or deleting the violative content.

  • Reporting the activity to appropriate law enforcement agencies.

7. Reporting Abuse If you believe a White Cap Solutions customer is violating this AUP, please report the incident, including relevant logs or evidence, to: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
